Working in the here-and-now to increase choice and meaning in the future
Working from an integrated approach--a foundation of existential and humanistic psychotherapies, I hold a Masters of Arts (MA) degree in Psychology with a Mental Health Counseling concentration from Antioch University (2003) Seattle, Washington. I have lived with the challenges of chronic illness since being diagnosed as a teenager with Crohn's Disease. I am committed to ongoing professional learning, have been fully trained (2022) to provide both RODBT individual and group skills class (Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and provide this therapy to those for whom it is clinically appropriate. I care about your past as it informs your present, and utilize mindfulness-based practices in our sessions. I look forward to hearing from you.
